Bentley lies on the border of Surrey and Hampshire. It is actually in Hampshire but the wedding venue at the The Barn at Bury Court has an address in Surrey.

There is only one pub in Bentley - The Star Inn. Apparently they serve a good pre-wedding Dutch Courage!

Parts of the church at Bentley date back to Norman times. Strict laws in the mid seventeenth century prohibited the use of the Common Prayer book in marriage ceremonies. Instead marriages had to be performed in front of a Justice of the Peace.
